Asked to name a few stereotypical images of France, most people would have no trouble at all reeling off a decent sized list. But are they all really true? The Local asked our readers, who know a thing or two about France, its people and its culture, to come up with a few untruths about the country everyone loves to have a view on. French people are rude. This is a myth according to many of our readers, including former Irish Rugby star Trevor Brennan. "Ninety-nine percent of my experiences with French people have been positive," he told The Local in a recent interview.
