"Well informed thieves" in Paris have stolen several possessions once owned by Charlie Chaplin, including a set of pens and his honorary Oscar - which has been valued at €1 million.
Oscar-nominated film Amour by Michael Haneke claimed the heavyweight gongs at the French film awards, the Cesars, on Friday evening, with US actor Kevin Costner honoured with a lifetime achievement award.
