Well, I am an Italian Citizen, but my wife is a non-EU citizen, and the application form for her requires her to pick one of the EU nationalities, and does not give her the option to declase a non-EU citizenship, so her application keeps getting kicked out for declaring herself as Italian, even though she explains on the form that she is NOT Italian, but is married to one. The form also does not allow her to change her address from the AirBnB we occcupied when we moved to France, to the apartment we now live in. The website also does not acknowledge her as a spouse, but instead labels her as a "student", which seems to be unable to be changed. Requests to the Prefecture and ANTS results in suggestions to contact the Prefecture and/or to re-apply with an explanatory note, which seems to not be read or understoof (it is written in French).

Hi, normally the 'family reunification' route is used by a couple who are both non-EU citizens, while EU citizens have a different pathway to bring a spouse, so it's possible that she is applying under the wrong route (although it's also true that the ANEF website is very buggy and glitch-ridden).
