A major Hollywood production is on the lookout for Americans in France for a possible minor speaking background role this month

The as-yet untitled Ocean’s 11 prequel – written, directed by and starring Bradley Cooper – is to hold a one-day shoot in Paris on August 19th.

It is seeking men and women "with North American accents" for background roles with a few lines of dialogue.

The film – scheduled for release in June 2027 – is set to follow the criminal parents of the original film’s protagonist Danny Ocean as they orchestrate a spectacular heist during the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix.

While the cast is yet to be confirmed, it has been reported in the trade press that the French star Omar Sy will join Largot Robbie, Josh Gad, Monica Barbaro, Vicky Krieps, George MacKay and Wagner Moura in the prequel to Steven Soderbergh’s popular heist saga, which starred George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon.

Anyone interested in taking part in the casting should check out the listing on the casting website figurants.com
