Tourists and visitors - have you managed to use the French health passport?

The health passport is now required to access venues including bars, restaurants, cafés, museums and long-distance train travel France - but how easy is it for tourists and visitors to access?

While those who were vaccinated in France get a QR code that can be uploaded to the health passport, for people who were vaccinated elsewhere things can be more complicated.

Some visitors, particularly those vaccinated outside the EU, have reported problems with using the health passport, so we’d like to hear from anyone who has recently travelled to France.

  1. Perfect! I filled out the Local’s questionairre and was left with no way to submit it. They must be using the same programmers as the govt.

  2. Agree with you entirely Gary . Here in Deux-Sevres we have been asked in all bars etc , yet the radiography lab in Melle didnt ask or look interested which doesnt give its clients much confidence . Thankfully the radiography department at Ruffec Hospital were well on the ball with ladies waiting at the doors to check.

  3. This is a public health issue. Every country should adopt the Health Passport. Why should these people who refuse to get vaccinated be allowed into venues to endanger the health of people who have taken precautions.
