French president Emmanuel Macron announced details of the reopening of France on Thursday, together with a key date for the many Americans who are keen to visit - June 9th.

However travel into France from outside the EU will require a 'health pass', he added.

While full details of how the pass will work have not yet been revealed it is likely to be a pass showing either a certificate of vaccination or recent negative Covid tests - here's what we know so far.
