British Embassy steps up efforts to reach UK citizens in France before Brexit
The British Embassy in Paris is stepping up its efforts to reach out to Brits living in France with several extra “Get Ready for Brexit” events.
There will be British Embassy outreach meetings held in Dordogne in the southwest and Ain in the east. Here are the locations and times:
-
Bourg-en Bresse on October 9 from 13.00 to 15.00
-
Perigueux on October 10 from 15.30 to 17.30 and from 18.30 to 20.30
-
Bernerac on October 11 from 14.30 to 16.30
Each event will begin with a brief introduction into how best UK nationals in France can prepare for Brexit, including the latest updates, and then the floor will open for questions. The events follow previous meetings in Paris, Orleans and northern France.
To sign up, visit the following link.
After signing up, you should receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite, indicating the exact location of the meeting.
If you do not see the email, please check your spam folder. If you still haven't received an email, please contact [email protected].
Organisers are asking attendants to make sure they bring a photo ID with you to the meeting.
Here at The Local we have created a new section of all our site with all the latest information on residency, healthcare and travel after Brexit, both for people living in France and those visiting. Check out our 'Preparing for Brexit' section.
