Honestly I have no regrets buying four years ago. The interest rates are super low and our mortgage if half the price that our rent was. It sucks have to pay two taxes but the money we save more than covers that. Renting is the best short term option but before you know it you've been living in your rental for five or more years. Calculate the money lost from rent for that time and you'll feel sick.

With interest rates at their lowest in a long time, it makes complete sense to buy if you're serious about staying in the long term.
