Paris thieves pinch Qatari tourist's €50K watch

A Qatari tourist was mugged of her €50,000 watch near the Champs Elysées on Thursday night.
The victim was pushed to the ground before the attacker stole her Patek Philippe watch and fled the scene on a scooter, reported Europe 1.
The assault took place at around 10.30pm on the Avenue Montaigne, a street well known for its upscale boutiques.
This robbery comes after a series of high-profile robberies on wealthy tourists in the capital, most notably including US TV star Kim Kardashian's, who was robbed of €10 million in jewellery at a private mansion in Paris two weeks ago.
In August, a watch worth €1 million was stolen from a member of the Saudi royal family, also in Paris.
In that same week thieves pounced on a busload of Chinese tourists near the Charles de Gaulle airport, spraying teargas on the tourists and making off with their luggage.
