Fed up crunching numbers, teaching grammar or pulling pints?
When it comes to working in France it can be easy to fall back on the obvious: easy options like teaching English at a language school or working behind the bar of an expat pub in Paris.
It's also easy to get stuck in a rut in an office job, too scared to try something new, for fear of ending up sans emploi (unemployed).
Although bar and office jobs and teaching English offer a great way to start out, many people soon get itchy feet and begin looking for something new, something exciting and something different – and France has some great opportunities for those willing to take a risk.
So if you are looking to change jobs but not countries, The Local has put together a list of ten dream careers in France for expats, each one of which sounds highly tempting.
Which one takes your fancy? If you have a "dream job" in France let us know, we'd like to hear from you.
