The ten worst French food faux pas to commit

The French love their food rules so eating dinner in France can be a bit of a minefield for us foreigners when it comes to trying not to commit any embarassing or even offensive faux pas. We have asked a French cooking teacher to point out of ten of the worst French food faux pas.

Let's face all expats living here have committed faux pas at some stage or another whilst dining with French hosts or in a French restaurant, although some of us may made a few more than others and continue to do so.

So for our sake and for yours The Local asked Paris based cook book author and teacher of French cooking classes, Susan Herrmann Loomis to point out ten French food faux pas to avoid. Click below to see how many you have committed, perhaps without even realising.
