The Eiffel Tower reopens today, but the famous landmark has replicas scattered around the globe, so if you're not able to travel to Paris there may be a substitute a little closer to home.

The original and (for our money) best Eiffel Tower in Paris reopened on Thursday after its longest closure since World War II.

There are strict hygiene rules in place - including a stairs-only rule for the first week - and a limit on visitor numbers.

So if you can't get there, or if you are still restricted by travel bans, here are some alternatives.

Granted, they may not be 324 metres tall - but they are impressive in their own right and deserve to be seen. And you can do just that, by clicking below.
