From June 26th, Spanish company Gomex will be testing the free wifi network it certain stations across Paris.

A spokesman for the RATP, the Parisian transport company, said in a statement: “The company wishes to offer the best connectivity to its clients. To this end, a number of tests are to be carried out, including tests for wifi.”

The RATP has a telecoms subsidiary dedicated to mobile network on public transport in the capital. It’s London counterpart last year abandoned plans to improve their underground mobile networks before the Olympics because of finances.
