Family knife attack delays ferry
Moments after a ferry had set sail from Marseille it had to make an emergency stop after a man on board was attacked with a knife by his brother-in-law yesterday.
The man’s cheek was slashed after a fight broke out between the pair. The captain was forced to stop the Marseille-Bastia boat in Toulon, just 65 kilometres from its starting point.
The victim and his brother-in-law were forced to get off the boat at Toulon.
The ferry was consequently a few hours late to its final destination of Bastia, Corsica.
