Missing python found behind stereo

A slippery character had made quite a stir in the town of Vimoutiers, Normandy over the past three weeks, but all, it seems, for nothing.
A python was reported missing to the authorities in May, which prompted an eager search of the surroundings of the building where it lived.
Neighbours even reported seeing a reptile about 1.5 meters long, suspected to be the missing snake.
But it seems the python had never in face left its owners apartment. It was found yesterday sleeping in a warm spot just behind the hi-fi system.
