Actor Gérard Depardieu has tried to laugh off his recent lack of bladder control on a flight from Paris to Dublin by recording a video mocking the incident.

The short film was recorded in Ireland where he is currently filming the latest in the Asterix and Obelisk films.

It shows Depardieu supposedly seated at the front of an aircraft, which is actually a coach, with his co-star Edouard Baer.

Baer was with him on the now infamous flight from Paris to Dublin on August 16th.

The two are shown reading newspapers as a flight attendant announces that passengers must ready themselves for take-off.

"I need a wild boar," says Depardieu suddenly.

"We're about to take off," says Baer.

"I can't wait, I need one right now," says Depardieu.  "Please, miss, can I have a wild boar?" he says.

"After take-off," replies a flight attendant.

"I need one right now. I can't wait," he then says, leaping up as the flight attendant pleads with him to sit. Depardieu finally makes a break for the exit while the other passengers look on disgusted.
