Porno past returns to haunt bus drivers
Two bus drivers in the south-west city of Toulouse have become unwilling celebrities after a colleague recognized them in an X-rated movie and shared it with other employees.
The two drivers, a woman now in her 30s and a man who is twenty years older, appeared in the film ten years ago, according to local newspaper Dépêche du Midi. They took jobs as drivers with the local bus company, Tisséo, three years ago.
The film is called “Tranche de vit” and, unsurprisingly, has a double meaning. When spoken, it sounds like the French expression “tranche de vie”, meaning “slice of life”. However, the film title uses the word “vit”, another word for penis.
The film was directed by well-known porn director Pascal Galbrun and is widely available online.
After word spread of their colourful past, the two took a leave of absence from work and filed a complaint against the colleague who brought their acting careers to light.
Dépêche du Midi reported that the colleague concerned is now the subject of disciplinary procedures and that his union has refused to defend him.
“Every Tisséo employee has the right to respect in the workplace. Private lives are sacred and should not be interfered with,” Frank Delperier, a union representative, told the newspaper.
