Top Ten: French whines about expat partners

For many expats in France finding a French husband or wife is often a lifelong dream. But what about for their French partners? After hearing grievances from our French readers The Local has put together a list of the top 10 complaints the French have about their expat partners. You might want to take note.

The path of true love never did run smooth, and it’s certainly possible that you encounter a few more bumps along the way in a bilingual, bi-national relationship.

And with France being a particularly unique nation the potential for a rumpus for Franco/foreign couples is perhaps even greater.

Nevertheless finding a French husband or wife is often the dream of many a foreigner but what about for the French? Are expats their dream ticket too?

The Local has asked our French readers who are lucky or unlucky enough to have an expat partner to come up with their Top Ten ways us foreigners make their lives a nightmare.

It might be worth taking note of what they say if you value your relationship.
