Missing girl found alive in car boot in Germany

A 15-year-old girl whose disappearance from her home in southern France sparked a nationwide hunt has been found alive in the boot of a car in Germany, police sources said on Friday.
Chloe Rodriguez was discovered by German police who stopped the car she was being transported in near Offenburg, close to the French border.
The driver of the car, who came from the same region as the girl and was wanted for robbery in Germany, was arrested. The girl was hospitalised butinitial indications were that she had not been harmed.
The teenager had been missing since November 9. Her moped was found in front of the family house in the village of Barjac in the Gard region with allher personal effects in it except her helmet and mobile phone.
Local police expect to open an investigation into a suspected kidnapping following the recovery of the girl.
