A woman has fallen from a first floor window in a bid to find a better WiFi signal while using her laptop in Menton, in the French Riviera.
The woman, 25, balanced herself on her window, holding her laptop in the air before she fell one storey, according to the Nice-Matin newspaper.
Emergency services arrived and took her to the nearby La Palmosa hospital, where she was treated for multiple fractures.
Police initially suspected a suicide attempt, but the woman told them she had in fact just been in search of a better internet connection.
